At Poof ("we", "us", or "our"), we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use the Poof iOS application and getpoof.io website.

2.2 Content Data - Voice recordings (processed only for transcription, not permanently stored on our servers) - Generated content (text posts, carousels, threads, reel scripts, hooks) - Imported social media content and analyses - Topic and idea data

2.3 Preference Data - Content language preference (50+ languages) - Niche, target audience, tone, and platform preferences - Emoji usage preference

2.4 Technical Data - Device model and operating system version - IP address - App version - App usage statistics and analytics events

3. Use of Data

We use your data to: - Transcribe your voice recordings (via Gemini Flash Lite) - Generate AI-powered content (via Grok model) - Analyze imported content and perform similarity searches - Manage subscriptions and virtual currency (coins) - Improve service quality - Provide customer support - Fulfill legal obligations

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data to third parties. We only share with technical infrastructure providers necessary for service delivery: - Supabase (database, authentication, file storage) - OpenRouter (AI model access — Grok, Gemini, embeddings) - RevenueCat (subscription management) - Apple (payment processing via App Store)

5. Data Security

Your data is protected using industry-standard encryption. Supabase infrastructure uses Row Level Security (RLS) policies so each user can only access their own data. All API communications are encrypted via TLS/SSL.

6. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days. Voice recordings are not stored on our servers after processing.

7. Your Rights

Poof is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from users under 18.
